FX Operations Analyst

About This Role

This remote position supports foreign exchange derivatives operations for a finance organization that serves global development and impact investment markets. The role plays an important part in maintaining accurate operational processing across trade lifecycle activities, and suits a candidate with hands-on experience in middle- and back-office functions, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end operational workflow for FX derivative transactions, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement coordination, and record accuracy
• Monitor incoming and outgoing cash activity by tracking receivables, payables, and collateral movements to support timely processing
• Partner with senior team members to maintain reliable documentation, operational controls, and accounting-related support tied to hedging activities
• Respond to client inquiries related to derivative operations and help resolve transaction, settlement, and administrative issues efficiently
• Contribute to counterparty administration by supporting transaction follow-up, documentation review, and ongoing operational coordination
• Assist with reporting needs connected to risk oversight, compliance monitoring, and internal operational review
• Provide day-to-day support across back- and middle-office processes to help ensure smooth execution of treasury and hedging operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative or technical discipline
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, with exposure to FX derivatives operations preferred
• Practical knowledge of middle-office and back-office processes within financial services
• Experience supporting derivative transaction processing, confirmations, settlements, or related controls
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and reconcile operational data
• High level of accuracy, organization, and follow-through when handling time-sensitive tasks
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
