About the role
Are you an experienced funds professional thinking about a career move? Robert Walters is recruiting a Associate Director/ Director to join a well-established funds operations and product team in Dublin. You will be at the heart of designing innovative investment products, supporting new launches, and continually enhancing business processes through automation and AI-enabled workflows.
What you'll do:
The role will involve oversight of operations of an extensive portfolio of products across multiple asset classes. This role is perfect for someone who thrives combining deep product knowledge, project management expertise, and technological acumen to solve complex challenges and drive operational excellence.
You will:
- Oversee the operations of the European product range by monitoring tracking error, validating pricing across multiple asset classes, calculating collateral requirements, and ensuring accurate dissemination of market data.
- Lead project management and business analysis for strategic initiatives such as new product launches, enhancements, regulatory changes, and operational improvement projects.
- Assist with product design and structuring by establishing new operational frameworks and scalable business processes in collaboration with internal teams and external counterparties.
- Manage relationships with key partners including investment managers, administrators, custodians, and other service providers throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Oversee resolutions for intricate pricing and NAV-related matters including benchmark data analysis, PCFs review, underlying security pricing validation, FX rate assessments, collateral checks, accrued income calculations, dividend processing, and tracking error evaluation.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of the operating model by leveraging technology automation to enhance scalability resilience operational efficiency.
What you bring:
- Degree-level education ideally in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics Finance Computer Science Engineering Physics or related subject is required.
- Proven experience in financial markets product operations fund accounting portfolio management support trade support or product structuring is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex financial products apply quantitative analysis to support operational oversight is necessary.
- Deep expertise in fund operations including fund administration custody transfer agency market infrastructure applicable regulatory requirements is mandatory.
- Strong project management organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are vital.
- Excellent communication skills enabling effective engagement with both technical non-
- Proficiency using Python VBA or other programming languages to automate processes improve operational workflows is advantageous.
