Fund Accountant in Transactions Team Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting
- English on advanced level (min. C1)
- University degree in Finance, Economics or similar
- Deep knowledge and understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
- Knowledge and understanding of different Corporate Action types
- Proficient command of MS Office (proficient knowledge of Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Ability to work to deadlines and stress resilience
- Accountability and client focused mindset
- Knowledge of Multifonds accounting systems will be an asset
- Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters will be an asset
Responsibilities As a member of Transactions Team, you will be responsible for:
- Booking of all transactions related to the fund in line with instructions received from clients/brokers
- Reviewing and analyzing of any potential deviations on received instructions to ensure proper data is inserted into accounting system
- Reconciliation of accounted movements against reports received from counterparties
- Dealing with CA’s, OTC and collateral products
- Acting as point of contact for various stakeholders
- Supporting less experienced colleagues in their daily duties
