About the role
Verify and validate that the software product complies with the established functional requirements, based on the analysis of the functional specification of a component or system. It includes understanding product requirements and specifications, generating test scenarios; design and execute test cases with a black box approach; generate and manage test data; identify and document defects or discrepancies with requirements; Collaborate with the development team to facilitate the resolution of such defects and thereby ensure the quality of the software product. The Functional Tester can also participate in preparing test plans, providing suggestions for test automation and continuous feedback to improve software development and quality processes.
