About This Role

This position is for a Full or Associate Professor in Economics, with an expected start date of Fall 2027. The role aims to enhance the department's research impact, diversify faculty expertise, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthen the PhD program. It seeks an individual with international academic stature, accomplishments, and excellent collaborative skills.

Requirements

• PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Economics with experience and publication record commensurate with an appointment at the Full or Associate Professor level
• Demonstrated abilities to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and alumni
• Excellent record of teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Record of success in undergraduate and graduate student advising and placement
• Commitment to participation in service at the department and university levels consistent with an active research agenda
