Role Overview This position involves performing radiological procedures focused on breast imaging diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting, including fixed or mobile sites. The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while providing compassionate patient interaction and adhering to quality control standards mandated by MQSA and the FDA.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic mammography procedures with attention to image quality and patient comfort.
- Conducting quality control activities as assigned, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Interacting with patients in a caring manner to facilitate a positive experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program verified by ARRT eligibility.
- Current Washington Radiologic Technologist license and BLS certification.
- Registered in Radiography, with Mammography registration within one year.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
