About the role
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and supporting diagnostic accuracy.
They operate imaging equipment independently, adjust techniques to minimize radiation exposure, and maintain infection control standards.
Key duties include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, administering contrast agents, positioning patients, reviewing images, and documenting accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
They monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least one year of radiology experience, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
Skills required encompass technical proficiency, patient communication, attention to safety, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory standards.
