Role: RN Clinical Nurse Practice Specialist
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical nursing expertise, assess staff development needs, and support care plan improvements.
- Lead quality initiatives, evaluate practice outcomes, and promote evidence-based, safe, cost-effective practices.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs, including competency and transition-to-practice initiatives.
- Mentor and coach clinical staff and educators, fostering professional growth and evidence-based practice adoption.
- Collaborate with leadership and academic partners, participate in research, and advocate for nursing practice advancement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
- 5+ years clinical experience in healthcare or academic settings.
- Expertise in adult learning, excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Current RN license in Illinois, BLS certification, and specialty certification or within one year of role assumption.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and commit to ongoing professional development.
