About the role
Role: Provides direct patient care in a 90-bed PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
Responsibilities: Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on post-treatment management, participates in safety and quality initiatives, develops and documents individualized care plans, and evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Ensures clear communication across care teams and adheres to standards of nursing care.
Qualifications: Requires an RN license and a nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years experience preferred. Critical thinking, assessment skills, and commitment to safety are essential.
