Full-stack Developer - Python

About This Role

Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance cloud applications is the core of this role for a talented and motivated Python backend developer. The position focuses on building robust server-side logic, developing secure APIs, and managing data persistence layers, collaborating closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable microservices that power core business platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale distributed backend systems that handle high traffic, concurrency, and data throughput
• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, secure RESTful APIs and microservices
• Optimize database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and manage data persistence using ORM frameworks
• Implement and maintain robust security protocols for authentication and authorization
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and regression test suites to ensure high code quality
• Package applications into containers and assist in deploying services to cloud infrastructure
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, memory leaks, and query bottlenecks

Requirements

• Proven experience with distributed systems design, load balancing, caching strategies, and system scalability
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures (trees, graphs, hash maps) and algorithms to write highly efficient code
• Deep knowledge of Python 3.10+, handling async programming (asyncio), and memory management
• Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Strong proficiency in relational databases (SQLserver, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM/ODM tools (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM)
• Proven experience designing clean RESTful web services and integrating with third-party systems
• Daily experience using dependency managers like Poetry or Pipenv, alongside testing tools like Pytest and unittest
• Mastery of Git for branching, merging, and pull requests
