About This Role
This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a fulfillment department, focusing on shipping, inventory, and delivery. The manager will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Be fully responsible for the daily operations and team management of the fulfillment department
- Develop staffing plans and operational strategies, manage supervisors, team leads, and on-site teams
- Oversee key performance indicators including outbound timeliness, accuracy rate, labor efficiency, and labor cost
- Identify issues through operational data and implement improvement initiatives to continuously enhance operational efficiency
- Establish and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and management standards
- Lead team training, performance management, and talent development
- Coordinate peak season order volumes and workforce planning to ensure stable business operations
- Manage cross-departmental communication, coordination, and resolution of major operational incidents
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in dropshipping-related roles
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Familiarity with WMS, dropshipping operational processes, and KPI management
- Strong capabilities in data analysis, personnel management, cost control, and process optimization
- Fluent English required; able to independently conduct meetings, cross-departmental communication, and email correspondence
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in both Chinese and English
Nice to have:
- Candidates with dropshipping management experience preferred
- Experience working in 3PL warehouses is a plus
- Candidates with experience managing Supervisors/Team Leads or leading larger teams are preferred
