Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate

About This Role

Working in the company's Mountain View warehouse, the Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate organizes, stocks, and maintains the facility while directly supporting the fulfillment team. This role oversees the full inventory lifecycle, from receiving shipments to stocking and organizing product, reconciling inventory, and working alongside fulfillment specialists to ensure every order is picked accurately, packaged beautifully, and shipped on time. It suits a detail-oriented, hands-on individual with a keen eye for presentation and a commitment to an elevated customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders
• Unpack and log incoming merchandise accurately into inventory systems
• Identify and flag discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages immediately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout
• Assign and manage bin/shelf locations for all SKUs
• Ensure products are stored correctly and safely at all times
• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic full inventory audits
• Pick items for orders accurately from warehouse stock
• Package and wrap orders to a high standard, constructing boxes, wrapping items beautifully in tissue, and adding finishing touches befitting a luxury brand
• Handwrite personalized thank-you notes for outgoing orders
• Support outbound shipping processes and carrier handoffs
• Prioritize order queues during high-volume periods (promotions, peak seasons)
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email
• Collaborate with management to stay current on products, policies, and promotions
• Record customer interactions and relevant details in our customer service database
• Offer solutions aligned with Kids Atelier's service standards
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records
• Maintain accurate records in Shopify and any warehouse management tools
• Generate and review inventory reports; surface trends or issues to management
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant warehouse environment
• Oversee organization of returns and restocks
• Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners on shipping and delivery schedules
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse workflows and processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or a related role
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• A genuine eye for presentation, with the ability to package orders beautifully and consistently
