About This Role
This new role involves owning the final stage of the company's wholesale orders, from accurate packing to local delivery to dispensary partners. It suits a detail-oriented person who thrives in a regulated industry and enjoys a steady routine with clear daily goals.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and verify 40–50+ wholesale orders a week against invoices and manifests, working mostly from pre-bagged and pre-capped stock
- Drive three local delivery routes a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in a company cargo van across Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Golden, Boulder, and the northern suburbs, and hand off product and paperwork at each dispensary
- Keep compliance paperwork accurate: Metrc transfers and manifests, delivery sign-offs, and order status in LeafLink
- Print labels and invoices, stage the day’s orders, and prepare statewide shipments for pickup by the transport partner
- On Fridays, restock packing supplies, pre-build boxes and sample packs, and keep the fulfillment area clean and organized
- Log daily numbers (orders, line items, time) in a short end-of-day shift note, and help write and improve fulfillment procedures
Requirements
- 21 or older and eligible for a Colorado MED employee license (badge)
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or delivery work
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the day
- Comfortable with basic computer work: email, spreadsheets, and web-based order systems
Nice to have:
- Current Colorado MED employee badge
- Experience with Metrc, LeafLink, or another seed-to-sale or wholesale ordering system
- Experience driving a cargo van or box truck for deliveries
- Previous work at a licensed cannabis business
Important Details
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, daytime shifts; a shorter Friday shift. No nights or weekends
- Expected hours: 40.0 per week
