Title: Frontend Engineer

Location:  Redmond, WA (onsite

Duration:   6+ month contract

Compensation: $70 - 75.00/hr.

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Frontend Software Development Engineer with 5 years of experience developing and supporting scalable web applications, dashboards, and engineering tools. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS , with experience building modern, responsive, and reliable user interfaces for complex applications.

This role is focused on frontend application development , including UI architecture, reusable component development, data-driven interfaces, performance optimization, automated testing, and delivering polished experiences in collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern frontend applications, dashboards, and engineering tools
• Build responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop reusable UI components, frontend modules, and design-system patterns that can scale across applications
• Integrate frontend applications with existing APIs and data sources , translating complex data into intuitive user experiences
• Own frontend features end to end, from UI design and implementation through testing, release, and production support
• Collaborate closely with product, UX/design, and engineering teams to translate requirements and designs into high-quality frontend experiences
• Build data-rich interfaces including dashboards, monitoring views, tables, charts, forms, and interactive workflows
• Apply strong frontend engineering practices across coding, testing, code review, performance optimization, and deployment
• Troubleshoot complex UI issues and independently drive root-cause analysis and resolution across browser, application, and frontend infrastructure layers

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 5 years of professional experience in Software Development , with a strong focus on frontend development
• Strong Frontend Development experience, including:
  • Modern frontend frameworks, preferably React
  • TypeScript and JavaScript
  • HTML and CSS
  • Component-based UI architecture
  • Responsive and accessible web development
• Hands-on experience building scalable, production-quality web applications and dashboards
• Strong experience with React
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript , with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured frontend code
• Experience with frontend state management, component architecture, and reusable UI patterns
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs or other data services
• Experience writing and maintaining automated frontend tests , including unit, integration, or end-to-end testing
• Ability to take ownership of frontend features across the full development lifecycle

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with data visualization libraries and building interfaces around large or complex datasets
• Experience with frontend performance optimization and profiling
• Experience working with design systems or shared component libraries
• Experience with accessibility standards and WCAG
• Experience working in a cloud-hosted web application environment
