About This Role
Developing the visual and interactive aspects of the company's e-commerce platform is the core of this role. You will design website components and translate them into user-friendly, responsive web pages, combining creativity with technical skills to deliver an optimal online experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new components and functionalities
- Translate your own designs into pixel-perfect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Optimize user experience (UX) and user interface (UI)
- Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible solutions
- Collaborate with the back-end development team to integrate new functionalities
- Test, debug, and continuously improve front-end code
Requirements
- Availability for 32-40 hours per week
- Minimum of an HBO degree in Computer Science, CMD, or a comparable field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with HTML5, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and Vue
- Experience with independently designing web pages and components
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control (Git) and basic knowledge of SEO
- Creative, eye for detail, and a sense of design
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English

- Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma
