About This Role
Developing and scaling responsive web applications is the core of this engineering role, which involves modernizing legacy application architectures and building high-performing, user-focused web applications for large-scale digital platforms. The role suits an experienced and driven Front-End Software Engineer or Senior Front-End Software Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale responsive web applications using Angular (Angular 10+ to 20+/22), TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx/Redux
- Architect and implement micro-frontend patterns, standalone components, feature modules, and shared design component libraries
- Modernize legacy front-end applications by refactoring outdated modules, eliminating anti-patterns, and adopting modern architectural standards
- Build and integrate front-end applications with Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and Java (Spring Boot) microservices and APIs
- Design clean API contracts and state integration layers using RxJS pipelines and HTTP interceptors
- Implement advanced Angular performance techniques (e.g., OnPush change detection, zoneless patterns, lazy loading, and route-level code splitting)
- Drive test-first development and write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Storybook, or Jasmine/Karma
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with automated linting, test validation, and build processes
- Support deployment strategies including A/B testing, feature toggles, and blue-green deployments across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS S3, CloudFront, Lambda)
- Utilize Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code creation, testing, and documentation
- Participate in architecture reviews, troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers (Senior level)
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with proven expertise in technical design and front-end architecture
- Deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and state management (NgRx, Redux, or Component Store)
- Strong working knowledge of Node.js and/or NestJS for building supporting services or middleware
- Hands-on experience integrating front-end systems with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and micro-frontend architecture patterns
- Demonstrated proficiency with automated test frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Storybook)
- Experience working with CI/CD automation and deployment workflows
Nice to have:
- Experience collaborating with Java (Spring Boot) back-end service layers
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway)
