Front Desk Manager

About This Role

This Front Desk Manager position is for a self-motivated leader with a passion for health and wellness and a love for sales. The role involves building, guiding, and supporting a team of Front Desk Coordinators to provide a superior patient experience in a chiropractic setting. Responsibilities

• Build, guide, and support a team of Front Desk Coordinators
• Manage the new hire onboarding process, including training for new Front Desk Coordinators
• Manage and train the team of Wellness Coordinators
• Ensure the front desk provides professional and friendly service for patients
• Maintain a professional and high-quality service-oriented environment at all times
• Deal with patients, including handling complaints
• Troubleshoot emergencies
• Assist with scheduling staff
• Hold front desk meetings to keep employees informed of job-related information and The Joint Chiropractic standards, promoting a strong team atmosphere and culture
• Provide excellent customer service to patients
• Answer phone calls
• Stay updated on membership options, packages, and promotions
• Recognize and support team goals and create and maintain positive relationships with team members
• Maintain the cleanliness of the clinic and organization of the workspace
• Confidently present and sell memberships and visit packages
• Keep owners/management apprised of member concerns and follow policies, procedures, and direction
• Participate in marketing/sales opportunities to help attract new patients into the clinics
• Educate patients on wellness offerings and services
• Work cohesively with others in a fun and fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with members and patients
• Manage the flow of patients through the clinic in an organized manner
• Complete transactions using point of sale software and ensure all patient accounts are current and accurate

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience managing a team of at least 4-5 employees
• Some management and/or supervisory experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software
• Ability to communicate effectively with members and patients
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Accept constructive criticism in a positive manner and use it as a learning tool

Nice to have:

• At least one year experience with electronic medical records and/or EHR system (electronic health records)
• Experience working in a chiropractic office
• Sales experience
• Previous office management experience
