About This Role

This freelance role is for French-speaking voice over artists and dubbing specialists to work on enterprise media projects. It involves using next-generation AI audio tools to review, adapt, and refine French scripts and voice outputs for authentic, high-quality delivery. The position bridges traditional language skills with next-generation technology and suits candidates with backgrounds in media, voiceover, translation, linguistics, or content editing.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and review scripts by fine-tuning translated content into natural, conversational, and culturally accurate French
• Evaluate AI audio by reviewing AI-generated voice outputs to ensure tone, pacing, emphasis, and emotion are accurate
• Maintain quality standards by catching awkward phrasing, pronunciation errors, or unnatural syncs, ensuring pristine final delivery
• Collaborate and innovate with project managers and localization teams to continually refine linguistic quality and tool accuracy

Requirements

• Fluent French (spoken and written, native-level preferred) and professional-level English communication skills
• Prior experience in translation, localization, subtitling, copy editing, media, voiceover, or linguistics is a big plus
• Comfortable learning and working with new software and AI-driven platforms
• A strong eye (and ear) for natural dialogue and precise language nuances
• Able to work flexibly on an ad-hoc, project-by-project basis while meeting agreed deadlines
