About This Role

Working as a Freight Broker, you will source and secure carriers, negotiate rates, and match available loads with suitable carrier partners. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurgaon and involves managing the full lifecycle of shipments, from planning to problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of shipments, including load planning, dispatching, tracking, and problem resolution to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers
• Handle customer inquiries
• Provide regular shipment updates
• Update internal systems
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with team members to optimize route efficiency and costs

Requirements

• Demonstrated skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, with experience in coordinating shipments and negotiating rates
• Strong Customer Service abilities, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive client relationships
• Experience in Dispatching and load management, with the ability to coordinate schedules and monitor real-time shipment status
• Account Management skills to build, retain, and grow shipper and carrier accounts
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions under time constraints
• Proficiency in using logistics software, spreadsheets, and communication tools
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage is an advantage

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of US geography, trucking operations, and freight market dynamics
• Relevant diploma or degree in business, logistics, or a related field
