About the role
Our client is looking for a highly creative Content Creator / Video Editor to join their team!
This role is a hybrid role onsite in Wilton, CT.
The ideal candidate is a strong editor and visual storyteller who understands how to capture and package compelling short-form content. You'll be responsible for editing a variety of video content, from social clips and product videos to event recaps, branded content, and marketing assets.
\Ideally, you are comfortable being on camera as well. The hours will fluctuate but could be up to 40 a week.
Responsibilities:
-Edit engaging video content for digital, social, and marketing channels
-Transform raw footage into polished, compelling stories that drive audience engagement
-Create short-form video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
-Edit longer-form content including interviews, event coverage, product demonstrations, and branded videos
-Capture video content during events, activations, trade shows, and company initiatives as needed
-Enhance content with motion graphics, sound design, color correction, and other post-production techniques
-Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop content that aligns with brand objectives
-Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient post-production workflows
-Stay current on video editing techniques, content trends, and best practices
Qualifications
-Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and storytelling capabilities
-Experience editing short-form content for digital and social platforms
-Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects experience is a plus
-Understanding of pacing, audience engagement, and content optimization for modern video formats
-Experience capturing video content and working with footage from live events, activations, and productions
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Strong creative instincts, attention to detail, and organizational skills
-Experience with social-first content, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts is preferred
-Comfortable working collaboratively with creative and marketing stakeholders
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
