About the role
Join a fast-growing US e-commerce brand focused on scaling paid social creative testing for Facebook and Instagram. This role is ideal for a video editor with a strong background in direct-response advertising, who can deliver high-performing ad creatives tailored for conversion. You will work with clear briefs, scripts, and reference materials, and be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling, conversion-focused ads. The initial engagement is a test project, with the opportunity for ongoing collaboration based on performance.
Deliverables
- Edit UGC and talking-head ads, incorporating b-roll, captions, and overlays for Facebook and Instagram.
- Create product demos, static-to-video content, and VSL-style ads optimized for direct-response.
- Produce multiple hook and angle variations from raw footage for creative testing.
- Utilize AI tools (such as HeyGen, Kling, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut) for avatars, b-roll, voiceovers, and content generation.
- Ensure all ads feature strong hooks, fast pacing, and high retention to maximize conversion.
- Deliver projects within agreed turnaround times and adapt to feedback for ongoing improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing direct-response ads for Facebook and Instagram, with a portfolio of paid social campaigns.
- Advanced proficiency in video editing software and AI tools relevant to ad creation.
- Deep understanding of conversion-focused editing, including hooks, retention strategies, and pacing.
- Ability to work with UGC, talking-head, and product demo formats.
- Strong communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to share examples of previous work, detail AI tools used, and outline typical turnaround times.
- Availability for an initial test project, with potential for steady ongoing work.
