This freelance role involves managing full EPCM projects as a Mechanical Project Engineer in a chemical production environment. You will translate process needs into concrete mechanical and piping designs, overseeing the planning, budget, and technical quality of multiple parallel projects. The scope ranges from small plant modifications to new production lines for resin and adhesive production, including basic design, detailed engineering, and construction management.
This role is with a chemical production company in the process industry that processes tree resins into two types of adhesives. Projects are fully executed in-house as EPCM at their own production site, from engineering and procurement to construction management. The internal engineering department realizes both modifications in existing factories and completely new production lines. Due to the large number of ongoing projects and the growth of the organization, there are continuous development and growth opportunities for experienced project engineers in mechanical engineering and piping.
