Responsibilities

• Provide real-time captioning for various events, presentations, and broadcasts

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom
• Proficiency in English (UK) as a native speaker
• Ability and willingness to travel within the country as needed to support specific live events or on-site productions
• Flexibility to adapt to work schedules outside normal business hours to meet live broadcast demands
• Prior experience in live broadcasting, media production, or a real-time subtitling unit
• Proficiency in using professional captioning software and equipment
• Extensive knowledge of captioning guidelines, including proper placement, formatting, and accessibility standards
• Familiarity with various captioning formats, such as WebVTT and SRT
• Strong ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and focus under the pressure of tight, real-time deadlines
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a cohesive part of a production team
• Signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required prior to starting the recruitment process
