About This Role
This role in the Risk & Regulatory practice helps clients manage risks, maintain regulatory compliance, and detect and prevent fraudulent activities. You will work with diverse clients and teams, analyze suspicious transactions, support compliance programs, and contribute to fraud investigations while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.
Responsibilities
- Investigate suspicious activities and transactions to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud
- Handle cases involving card fraud, wire fraud, online account fraud, and check fraud
- Identify and analyze fraud typologies, including identity theft, account abuse, account takeover (ATO), profile takeover, and scams
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements
- Monitor transactions and analyze data to identify unusual patterns and potential risks
- Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs and internal controls
- Gather information from multiple sources to support investigations and risk assessments
- Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance strategies
- Collaborate with team members to strengthen risk management and compliance practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in fraud investigation, fraud analysis, or suspicious transaction monitoring
- Experience investigating card fraud, wire fraud, online account fraud, and check fraud
- Knowledge of fraud typologies, including identity theft, account abuse, account takeover, profile takeover, and scams
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
- Familiarity with compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to analyze data and interpret findings for risk assessment
- Strong communication, active listening, and attention to detail
- Professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
