Fraud Analyst

About This Role

Working in Rabat, the Fraud Analyst contributes to detecting fraud in voice and SMS services. This role involves analyzing large volumes of information, studying at-risk cases, and transmitting clear alerts to relevant teams. The work helps limit financial losses and quickly address complex situations in an international environment, collaborating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze voice and SMS flows to identify unusual behaviors and fraud patterns
• Study at-risk cases, including complex ones, using data from multiple sources
• Utilize available business intelligence and big data tools, queries, and solutions
• Identify key points in large volumes of information and formulate structured conclusions
• Detect cases of Smishing, IRSF, and other forms of fraud related to voice and SMS services
• Trigger and document alerts associated with identified risks
• Collaborate with different departments in case processing and follow-up
• Clearly communicate results during team handovers and share best practices with colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in economics and management
• At least 1 year of professional experience, ideally in fraud analysis or the telecommunications sector
• Experience in voice and SMS fraud, particularly on topics related to Smishing and IRSF
• Knowledge of business intelligence or big data tools and methods
• Ability to analyze complex information, identify important elements, and clearly present conclusions
• Comfortable in an environment with varying schedules
• Autonomous, attentive to detail, and capable of managing time efficiently
• Enjoys teamwork and can remain calm during disagreements or urgent situations
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English
