Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately construct framing structures
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, or concrete forms for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate efficient framing work
- Work with concrete forming and finishing teams to ensure proper support for poured concrete structures
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishing components as needed
- Collaborate with carpenters, welders, and other trades to coordinate project tasks and ensure seamless workflow
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks daily while maintaining safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on framing projects
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring devices
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, nail guns, sanders, and concrete finishing equipment
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving materials
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working at heights
- Proficiency in Punjabi is preferred and considered an asset
