About the role
This opportunity is with Naya, an EPAM company, a leading global provider of data platforms and development professional services. Based in Israel, Naya is one of the fastest-growing companies in the data and development technology space, and we’re growing our team.
We're looking for someone who can walk into a customer's environment, understand their systems, and build the integration, feature, or AI-powered capability that makes their day-to-day genuinely better.
Ever wanted to build software that customers actually see, use, and depend on — not just ship code into a black box? This role is for engineers who love being where the action is: on-site with customers, solving real problems, and shipping production-grade solutions fast.
Responsibilities
- Building and shipping production-grade software directly with and for customers
- Designing and building API integrations — Built integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, auth flows (OAuth, tokens) in production
- Working hands-on with databases: modeling data, writing complex queries, debugging performance issues
- Building real LLM-powered features — prompt engineering, evals, RAG, function calling
- Debugging live production issues across logs, APIs, and integrations
- Following strong Git and dev practices — code review, CI/CD, testing discipline
- Being the technical face of the team in front of customers and cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years as a software engineer in production environments
- Strong fluency in a major programming language — comfortable building a working service or integration in hours
- Proven experience with API integrations and auth flows in production
- Solid SQL and database skills
- Real, hands-on LLM experience — you've actually built something with prompting, RAG, or function calling, not just read about it
- A true ownership mindset — you treat the customer's outcome as your own
- Self-driven — you've led something without being asked
- Professional Hebrew and English
- Willingness to work on-site at customer offices 3–4 days/week
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an adjacent technical field , GPA 85+
Nice to have
- TypeScript/JavaScript experience
- Building agentic workflows (multi-step agents, tool use, orchestration, state management) — major bonus!
- Experience with enterprise systems (CRM, core banking/insurance, telephony)
- Voice stack experience (ASR/TTS, IVR/CCaaS)
- Cloud and infra experience (AWS/GCP/Azure, containers)
- Security awareness — auth, data privacy, PII handling in enterprise contexts
