About This Role
Forward Deployed AI Engineers immerse themselves in clients' challenges, collaborating with enterprise teams to architect and build AI solutions that endure in production. This role blends consulting, operations, and engineering, ideal for those adept at navigating complex problems and delivering tangible results swiftly.
Responsibilities
- Discover and run workshops with stakeholders to assess data readiness and separate genuine AI problems from workflow issues.
- Structure processes and specifications for automated business tasks, ensuring reliability for both humans and AI systems.
- Architect and design end-to-end agentic systems emphasizing context and retrieval architecture, including data sourcing and knowledge graphs.
- Build and ship working systems such as agents and retrieval services, focusing on delivering value quickly.
- Own continuous integration and delivery processes, including versioning and evaluation suites for AI components.
- Manage post-launch operations, including metrics and observability, and ensure client teams can run systems autonomously.
- Consult with leadership on architectural decisions and quantify impacts in business terms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least one mainstream production stack (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
- 1-4 years of experience in deploying agentic AI solutions and LLM workflows in production environments.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree completion required.
- Hands-on experience with AI developer tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex.
- Proven ability in leading discovery calls and decomposing complex business problems.
- Solid understanding of architectural paradigms such as RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools and frameworks like LangGraph or LangChain.
- Strong ownership of project delivery without requiring supervision.
- Positive mindset and ability to work on Agile/Scrum teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience in regulated environments (financial services, healthcare).
- Pre-sales support experience, including discovery calls and technical proposal defense.
- Knowledge of classical machine learning in production environments.
