Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler Job Summary This role involves safely operating forklifts and handling materials to support warehouse operations. Responsibilities include order pulling, staging, inventory inspections, shipping, and receiving activities, primarily on a second-shift schedule.
Key Duties
- Operate sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials.
- Pull customer orders accurately and stage products for shipping or processing.
- Inspect inventory for accuracy, quality, and labeling; process transactions using RF scanners.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials, including lifting and placing items, ensuring proper storage.
- Support shipping and receiving by verifying shipments.
- Work independently to complete tasks while following safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience with proficiency in forklift operation.
- Strong skills in operating sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts.
- Experience with RF scanners and basic warehouse functions.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety guidelines.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
