Forklift Operator

About This Role

Using power equipment to load and unload products is the core of the Forklift Operator position. The role is ideal for individuals who can maintain a positive attitude while ensuring safety and productivity in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
• Operate power equipment according to established guidelines.
• Participate in pre-shift and department meetings.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the operations building, equipment, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Report all issues to management in a professional manner.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions provided by management.
• Complete lift inspections prior to operation.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of food safety practices or willingness to receive training in Food Safety.

Important Details

• Schedule: 1st Shift, 7 am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday.
• Employment type: Full-time.
