Love forests and the challenge of protecting them? CAL FIRE’s San Mateo–Santa Cruz Unit is looking for an enthusiastic Forester I to help manage and enforce California’s Forest Practice Program.
In this role, you’ll dive into Timber Harvest Plan reviews, conduct field inspections, work directly with landowners and operators, investigate violations, and even serve as an expert witness when needed.
