Food Service Manager - Henderson

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm
• Will work every 3rd weekend of the month from 6am-6pm

Pay:

• $18-$20

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations in the food service area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage food production processes, including cooking, preparation, and presentation of meals
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
• Train and mentor staff in food handling techniques, customer service, and kitchen management practices
• Coordinate shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
• Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a fast-paced environment
• Strong management skills with experience in supervising staff in a food service or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Experience in hospitality management or kitchen management is highly desirable
• Familiarity with dietary department operations and catering services is a plus
• Leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a diverse team
• Background in banquet experience or barista/coffee service is advantageous
• Culinary experience is preferred, along with a passion for the food industry
