About the role
3 Hour Food Service Helper (Substitutes) Hourly Rate: $15.00 Duties & Responsibilities Perform overall duties as assigned by the cook, assistant cook and/or the manager which may include but are not limited to:
- Checks daily menu and production records.
- Setting up service lines with hot/cold food, condiments, and proper serving utensils.
- Dishing up salads, juices, fresh and canned fruit.
- Preparing breads and rolls for service.
- Assisting in the preparation of cold food items for the serving line.
- Setting up cash registers.
- Serving on serving line.
- Work cash register.
- Refill hot/cold foods as needed.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, prep areas and student tables.
- Wash dishes, pots and pans.
- Clean and sanitize other equipment such as Somat machine, work tables, milk coolers and warming units.
- Count leftovers.
- Count cash register, complete bank deposit, complete Day End procedure on the computer.
- Do daily laundry.
