Food Runner – Cinco Ninos
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for Cinco Ninos. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll deliver meals promptly and accurately, ensuring food quality and presentation meet expectations for our guests. You'll assist servers, improve workflow, and help maintain a smooth and efficient dining operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, food runner, and management) as situations rise.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is preferred.
- Obtain state-certified proper food handling certification.
- Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
