About This Role
This Food and Beverage Manager role is for a 4-star hotel in Istanbul Altunizade. The manager will oversee the hotel's breakfast, room service, and bar operations, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective and regular management of the hotel's breakfast, room service, and lobby bar operations
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department
- Ensure the sustainability of brand standards and guest satisfaction
- Ensure breakfast operations are carried out in accordance with quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards
- Manage the operational processes of room service and lobby bar services
- Prepare shift schedules, task assignments, and daily work plans for the department team
- Monitor staff performance and organize training and development activities as needed
- Track stock of food, beverages, and consumables; coordinate purchasing processes with relevant units
- Monitor costs and contribute to the department's budget and profitability targets
- Follow up on processes related to suppliers and ensure the continuity of product/service quality
- Supervise compliance with hygiene, food safety, occupational health and safety, and hotel procedures
- Monitor guest feedback and take necessary actions
- Contribute to the development of F&B operations in line with targets set by management
Requirements
- Advanced English language skills
- Experience in similar positions in 5-star hotels
- Proficient in breakfast, room service, and bar operations
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Guest satisfaction and service quality oriented
- Knowledgeable in cost, stock, and purchasing processes
- Developed organizational and planning skills
- Competent in problem-solving and crisis management
- Strong communication skills and high representation ability
- Proficient in hygiene and food safety standards
- Able to use MS Office and preferably hotel automation systems
- Able to adapt to flexible working hours and hotel work arrangements
