About This Role
Leading and supervising the outlets team is the primary responsibility of the Food and Beverage Manager, who works with the Executive Chef and General Manager to ensure maximum efficiency. This role focuses on promoting a safe and welcoming work environment to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and providing exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times.
Responsibilities
- Achieve customer satisfaction and compliance with policies/procedures in the Outlets
- Train, coach and assist associates in the Food & Beverage operations
- Monitor performance and recommend corrective action
- Alert management of potentially serious issues
- Respond to customer needs and rectify any guest issues
- Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlets to ensure safe work environment
- Oversee cash handling and check/credit policies and procedures
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events
- Promote teamwork and quality service
- Routinely greet guests, serve food and beverage and service other outlets departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 3 years of employment in the F&B industry
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Exceptional guest-focus
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
- Able to read, write, and speak English and have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
- Basic computer skills
- Basic mathematical skill for report / forecast preparation
- Strong problem-solving, reasoning, motivational, organizational and training skills
- Alert to the customers' needs and work well under pressure
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Able to manage time effectively while working with minimal supervision
- Able to resolve problems and conflicts in a tactful and diplomatic manner
Nice to have:
- Prior hotel experience
- Fluency in other languages
