About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Drone Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing drone missions to support various client projects. Your expertise will ensure that all drone operations adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality data and insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drone technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, remote sensing, geography, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Remote Pilot License (RePL) or Commercial Drone Pilot License are mandatory. Prior experience in operating drones for commercial purposes, especially in data collection, mapping, or surveying, is highly preferred. Strong technical knowledge of drone hardware, software, and data processing tools is essential. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial. Candidates must also demonstrate good understanding of safety protocols, airspace regulations, and environmental considerations related to drone operations.
Responsibilities Plan and execute drone missions in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines. Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly before deployment. Operate various types of drones, including multi-rotor and fixed-wing aircraft, to capture high-resolution imagery and other data types. Process and analyze collected data using specialized software to generate accurate maps, 3D models, and reports. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project objectives and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Maintain detailed records of all flights, maintenance activities, and data collected. Stay updated on the latest drone technology, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Provide technical support and training to team members as needed. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational procedures and safety protocols.
