About This Role
Developing, testing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart is the core of this role. The position involves converting UI/UX designs into functional mobile applications and integrating them with various services and device capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Convert UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional mobile applications
- Develop reusable widgets, components, and application modules
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs / JSON-based services
- Implement authentication mechanisms including OTP, token-based authentication, and secure login
- Implement push notifications, deep linking, file/image uploads, camera, QR/barcode scanning, location services, and other mobile device capabilities when required
- Manage application state using suitable approaches such as Provider, Riverpod, BLoC/Cubit, or GetX
- Work with backend developers for API integration and issue resolution
- Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and improve application quality
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, estimations, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Maintain source code using Git and follow defined branching and release processes
- Prepare application builds for development, UAT, staging, and production environments
- Support deployment and publishing of applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- Monitor production applications and provide timely fixes for critical issues
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, development best practices, and organizational processes
- Continuously identify opportunities for performance improvement, automation, and code optimization
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation
Requirements
- Experience with Firebase services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Authentication, and Remote Config
- Implement local storage and offline capabilities using SQLite, Hive, SharedPreferences, or similar technologies
- Ensure applications perform consistently across Android and iOS devices
- Identify and resolve application crashes, performance issues, memory issues, and UI inconsistencies
