We are looking for installers who take ownership of their work and understand that quality installation involves more than simply putting flooring on the floor. A successful installer arrives prepared, equipped, and on time, takes responsibility for the quality of their workmanship, identifies and communicates potential problems before they become larger issues, follows proper installation procedures and does not take shortcuts that compromise the finished product, treats customers, their homes, and their property with respect, maintains a clean and organized jobsite, works efficiently without sacrificing quality, is willing to learn new products and installation methods, and communicates effectively with installation coordinators, warehouse staff, and other trades. They understand the importance of following instructions, documenting issues, and keeping projects moving forward.
This position requires the ability to lift and carry flooring materials, tools, and equipment, frequently kneel, bend, squat, and work at floor level, stand and walk for extended periods, safely operate hand and power tools, and handle flooring materials, adhesives, and other installation products according to applicable safety requirements.
