Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This full-time position involves delivering efficient patient care, administering medications, performing treatments, and contributing to assessments and care planning. The LPN supervises unlicensed staff and monitors patient conditions to ensure positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients/residents, observe conditions, and report changes.
- Assist in nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program.
- Current or pending licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- Maintain BLS/CPR certification as required.
Key Competencies: Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively, and effective communication. Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, day or night.
