Responsibilities
- Supervise flight instructor performance and ensure consistent application of standardized instructional methods
- Monitor student progress and coordinate actions to support learning and successful completion of training
- Ensure compliance with operational safety procedures, approved training programs, and applicable aviation regulations
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to developing future pilots
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with instructors and students
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to operational safety
- Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- Valid Flight Instructor License with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings
- A minimum of 2,000 hours as pilot in command
- At least three years of flight instruction experience and 1,000 hours of flight instruction, or at least 1,500 hours of flight instruction for applicants with fewer than three years of experience
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher
- Compliance with recent flight experience requirements and successful completion of the knowledge and proficiency assessments established by the Civil Aviation Authority of Panama
