Fixed-Term Contract - Technical Development Product Manager

About This Role

Working within the Small Leather Goods Development and Industrialization team, this product manager role serves as the primary contact for a manufacturer, overseeing the development and industrialization of collections. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product information accuracy throughout the development and industrialization process.

Responsibilities

• Support a manufacturer in product development, based on Studio briefs and information from the Collections Project Manager
• Participate in working sessions with the manufacturer and the Studio
• Understand Studio expectations to provide technical expertise from the start of development
• Contribute to proposing technical alternatives to the manufacturer, in conjunction with the Studio, to anticipate industrialization and costing issues, while respecting the creative intent
• Monitor panel/salpa/prototype launches within the collection budget
• Oversee the development of prototypes/samples, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
• Conduct risk analyses with the manufacturer (identification and risk mitigation) and iteratively build the qualification plan
• Ensure the accuracy of bills of materials in conjunction with the manufacturer, as well as product information and coding accuracy
• Oversee the finalization of risk mitigation
• Guarantee the aesthetic product definition (DNA) and its technical definition
• Contribute to the co-construction of tolerance thresholds with the Quality team
• Validate industrial prototypes and monitor the validation of the qualification plan

Requirements

• Engineering school background
• First experience in development/industrialization functions
• Strong technical curiosity and product sensitivity
• Desire to work in an environment combining craftsmanship and industrial know-how
• Analytical and synthesis skills, reactivity, and rigor
• Ability to be proactive and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
