About This Role
The Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness is responsible for running the PE@PF group program while supporting the club manager in driving member retention and club revenue. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fitness and health, who enjoys helping others achieve their fitness goals in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and run the PE@PF program, including fitness consultations and introducing members to the benefits of the program
- Assist members on the gym floor with proper use of equipment and engage them to peak interest in the PE@PF program
- Support club staff in maintaining cleanliness of the club, including bathroom checks and continuous racking/re-racking of weights as needed
- Provide support for front desk tasks, such as checking in members, giving club tours, and answering information calls
- Maintain a participation log for each facilitated class to monitor PE@PF program performance
- Maintain accredited certifications throughout employment, including Personal Training and CPR
- Complete company-assigned trainings and additional learning as directed
- Inspire and motivate others to achieve their goals while demonstrating professionalism and a positive attitude
Requirements
- Customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail
- Consistent punctuality and reliability
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Nationally Certified Training Certificate
- A passion for fitness and health

Important Details
