Fitness Coach

About This Role

This coaching role at a semi-private and open gym involves helping clients reach their health, fitness, and wellness goals. The coach designs customized exercise programs, provides guidance on safe and effective workouts, and offers support and motivation throughout the client

Responsibilities

• Motivate and encourage clients to maintain consistency and a positive attitude
• Develop personalized workout programs based on individual needs, abilities, and goals
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure client safety during workouts
• Monitor client progress and adjust training programs as needed for optimal results
• Educate clients on healthy lifestyle habits, including nutrition, stress management, and recovery
• Maintain a clean and organized training environment
• Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in all interactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor
• NASM, CSCS, or equivalent Certification within 90 days of hire
• CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals of varying fitness levels
• Professional, reliable, and passionate about health and fitness
