Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for power supply products, including microcontroller programming, device drivers, and communication protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop and optimize control algorithms for power conversion, voltage regulation, and protection mechanisms
- Integrate firmware with hardware platforms and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with specifications and standards
- Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals to support product development and customer support activities
- Identify and resolve firmware-related issues through systematic debugging, testing, and analysis of system behavior
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in firmware development to propose and implement continuous improvements in products and processes
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of firmware development efforts with overall project goals and timelines
Requirements
- BS in EE or Computer Science or related fields
- 3-5 years experience preferred, but entry level / new graduate will be considered based on experience
- Domestic and international travel may be required
