Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards with speed and precision
- Operate Aloha POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for register operations
- Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Assist with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and maintaining a tidy restaurant environment to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation or working in quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Aloha POS; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
- Previous restaurant or retail experience in the food industry or grocery store environments is beneficial but not required
