Firefighters are responsible for protecting lives and property through fire suppression, rescue operations, emergency medical services, fire prevention, and other emergency response activities. This position requires the ability to work under emergency conditions, perform physically demanding duties, and work as part of a team.
Greater Naples Fire Rescue District is the largest independent fire district in Florida, serving more than 160,000 residents across 1,517 square miles. The District provides fire suppression, emergency medical response, rescue services, fire prevention, and public education to the communities of Golden Gate, East Naples, Everglades City, Isles of Capri, Port of the Islands, and surrounding areas.
