Position Overview Advantage Interests and its subsidiary Eagle Fire are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Sprinkler Designer to join our growing fire protection team. This is an immediate need for a detail-oriented professional capable of managing full-cycle sprinkler system design projects across commercial, industrial, and specialty environments. Eagle Fire has built a strong reputation for delivering quality fire protection solutions, and we are looking for a designer who shares that commitment to excellence and is ready to contribute from day one.
Responsibilities
- Design automatic fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, preaction, and deluge configurations
- Develop complete system layouts, shop drawings, and submittal packages
- Perform hydraulic calculations in compliance with NFPA standards
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and field installation teams
- Generate accurate material takeoffs and support estimating efforts
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget requirements
- Produce construction documentation for AHJ approvals and field execution
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic calculations and automatic sprinkler layout
- Experience producing submittals and construction documentation
- NICET Level II – Water-Based Systems Layout (WBSL)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HydraCAD for Revit, HydraCalc, and HydraList
- BIM coordination experience
- NICET Level III (or actively working toward it)
