Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, service, and maintain fire fighting equipment as per maintenance schedules.
- Perform refilling, hydrostatic testing, and pressure testing of fire extinguishers.
- Install, repair, and maintain fire hose reels, landing valves, hydrants, monitors, and sprinkler accessories.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire pump systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on fire protection equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintenance records, and service documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with UAE Civil Defence regulations, NFPA standards, and company HSE policies.
- Coordinate with supervisors and clients during inspections and maintenance activities.
- Maintain tools, testing equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Report equipment defects and recommend replacement or corrective actions.
- Follow safe work practices while working at heights, confined spaces, and active project sites.
