Financial Services Consultant

About This Role

This Financial Services Consultant role is a hybrid position based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area, offering a combination of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The consultant will meet with clients to understand their goals, analyze their financial situations, and develop tailored strategies across areas such as wealth management, insurance, retirement, and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analyses
• Prepare proposals and presentations
• Recommend suitable financial products and services
• Maintain ongoing client relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams and leverage firm and partner resources
• Stay current on financial markets and regulatory changes
• Ensure all activities are compliant with industry standards and firm guidelines

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate client financial situations, assess risk, and develop sound recommendations
• Skills in finance and financial services to understand products, markets, and planning strategies relevant to individual and business clients
• Consulting skills to translate complex financial information into clear guidance and deliver client-focused solutions
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build trust, explain strategies clearly, and present information in writing and in person
• Willingness to pursue industry-recognized certifications, such as Series 6 or 7, and 63, along with State Life and Health Licenses
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple client engagements, and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
• Experience in financial planning, wealth management, insurance, or related advisory roles
• Proficiency with financial planning tools, CRM systems, and standard office software
